Discover Lifelong Learning at Community School This Winter!

The Tyne Valley – Ellerslie Community School is back for another exciting winter season! Starting January 8, 2025, residents can explore a variety of enriching courses designed to bring people together, share skills, and build community spirit.

This year’s offerings include a fantastic lineup of courses, including:

• Banjo

• Beginner Guitar, Intermediate Guitar, and Guitar Jam

• Book Club

• Playing Cards

• Bible Study

• Stained Glass (additional fee may apply)

• Topic A Night

• Sewing, Quilting, Crocheting, and Knitting

• Felting and Art/Painting

• Pickleball

Whether you’re eager to learn a new skill, meet new friends, or enjoy a relaxing evening, there’s something for everyone at Community School!

• Location: Ellerslie Elementary School, 1226 Ellerslie Road, Ellerslie

• Annual Fee: $20 (extra fees may apply to certain courses)

• Start Date: January 8, 2025

• Class Time: Wednesdays at 7:00 pm

• Registration: January 8, 2025, at 6:30 pm

Courses are open to anyone aged 13 and up (12 with a parent/guardian). Don’t miss this opportunity to engage with your community and have fun while learning!
